We take the safety and well-being of our students and staff seriously, and as such, there are specific requirements for all employment positions at St Andrews Lutheran College.

All teaching staff must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers to be eligible for employment. Additionally, all non-teaching support staff are required to undergo a Blue Card check (QLD Working with Children Check) upon appointment.

Blue Card Legislation has changed effective 31 August 2020 and a ‘No Card, No Start’ policy is now in effect.  Candidates may wish to consider how their Blue Card status will affect their suitability for the position as a Blue Card/Exemption Card is an inherent requirement of the role prior to a start date.

St Andrews Lutheran College supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of students.  All applicants are required to undergo a screening process and the successful applicant must comply with all College policies and procedures.

Early Learning Educator

We are seeking an Educator for our Early Learning Centre (ELC). This is a Part-time, Fixed Term Contract, from 14 April 2025 to 20 December 2025 with the possibility of an extension. The incumbent will work in conjunction with the Teacher/Lead Educator in charge, to plan, implement and evaluate a program of routines and developmentally appropriate activities which all provide for the development of the children in a stimulating and caring and secure environment.
